Description
Description
Gauge lines for a rabbet depth along a board have to stay the same distance from the edge all the way down. So does a reveal line on a door frame. The Scriber Marking Ruler sets that distance with a sliding scribe guide and draws it with the mechanical pencil it comes with.
It measures 0 to 30 cm (0 to 12 in) on laser-engraved scales in inch and mm. It reads in whichever units your plans use. Slide the guide to the number, lock it, hook the head on the edge, and draw. Moving to the next line takes one slide of the guide.
The aluminum body has a strong frame and an easy handle. It doubles as a short ruler and a small square for marking stock. That makes it the tool that lives in an apron pocket while the larger squares stay on the bench, ready for the next edge that needs a line.
