Description
Description
Ripping a stack of edge banding or inlay strips goes wrong when you measure between the fence and the blade for every pass. The Thin Rip Jig locks in your miter slot in front of the blade and gives the board one fixed point to touch. After each cut, slide the fence over until the board meets the bearing again, and the next strip matches the first.
Setup follows the scale. Bring the bearing close to the blade, move the indicator to the nearest mark, then set the strip width. Strips can be as thin as 1/32 in, and the jig reaches 2-5/8 to 8 in from the slot center to the blade. Its one-way roller bearing lets the board move forward and not back.
It fits 3/8 x 3/4 in T-slots and U-slots plus 1/4 x 3/8 in T-slots, so it works on a table saw, a band saw or a router table. Black and Red are the same jig with the same inch and mm scales. Pick the color you will spot first on a crowded bench.

Questions
Questions about the GOINGMAKE Thin Rip Jig
Will the GOINGMAKE thin rip jig fit your band saw?
If the band saw table has a 3/8 x 3/4 in T-slot or U-slot, or a 1/4 x 3/8 in T-slot, yes. The jig reaches 2-5/8 to 8 in from the slot center. Read thin strips and repeat rips for the method.
Is the red GOINGMAKE thin rip jig different from the black one?
Only in color. Both reach 2-5/8 to 8 in from the slot center, cut strips down to 1/32 in, carry inch and mm scales and fit the same three slot sizes.
A table saw cuts fingers as easily as wood. The agencies below put the numbers on it and say what keeps hands out of the line of the cut.
