Editorial policy

Where the facts come from

Fence lengths, slot sizes, angle stops, hole sizes, offsets and what comes in the box come from our own product descriptions. Prices come from our last catalog update. Nothing that we cannot point to is printed as a figure.

Public sources

Our guides lean on OSHA, NIOSH and the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Every source is opened and read before a sentence cites it, and the date we read it is printed with the source.

Ratings and photos

The star rating and the number of ratings on a jig come from shoppers at our retail partner, as of our last update. Each product page has its own pool, and a pool is counted once.

Product photos and the film on our home page come from our own brand photography and video. Where a photo carried printed captions or arrows, we cut it or do not show it.
