Widths that repeat, a blade that runs true
The thin rip jig locks in the miter slot in front of the blade and sets each strip from a roller bearing, so the strip falls on the outside of the blade, not between blade and fence. It reaches 2-5/8 to 8 in from the slot center and cuts strips as thin as 1/32 in.
On the track saw, a parallel guide does what a rip fence does on the table saw: ten strips off a sheet at one width, 0 to 53 in. And before any of it, the dial indicator reads the blade and the fence against the slot to 0.01 mm.
Every saw jig on this shelf belongs to the GOINGMAKE shop kit. Before you set up a saw jig, read Thin strips and repeat rips: a thin rip jig on the table saw, a parallel guide on the track saw.
Questions
Questions about GOINGMAKE saw jigs and guides
Will the GOINGMAKE thin rip jig fit your saw's slot?
It fits 3/8 x 3/4 in T and U slots and 1/4 x 3/8 in T-slots, on a table saw, a band saw or a router table, and reaches 2-5/8 to 8 in from the slot center.
Will the GOINGMAKE parallel guide fit your track saw rail?
Festool, Makita, Milwaukee, Triton, Powertec and WEN guide rails. Other rails are not listed, so check yours before you order.
What can you measure with the GOINGMAKE dial indicator?
How far the blade or the rip fence sits from parallel with the miter slot, to 0.01 mm. Its bar takes the play out of the slot, and its reach runs from 4 to 8.85 in.
A table saw cuts fingers as easily as wood. The agencies below put the numbers on it and say what keeps hands out of the line of the cut.
