Description
Description
Plywood sheets and cabinets already hung on a wall never reach a drill press. They still need holes square to the face. The Drill Guide for Straight Holes sets your hand drill square to the surface wherever the work is, from the middle of a full sheet to the floor of an installed cabinet.
Rods slide through guide bushings, so the bit drops straight while you push. The depth stop takes any depth you want within the long travel of the guide. That matters when a hole must stop short of the far face. Bits lock in the 1/2 in self-locking chuck, and a 3/8 or 1/2 in cordless drill turns it.
Underneath, an anti-slip pad holds the base on a finished surface, and a V-groove cradles round stock for a centered hole through a rod or tube. Mounting holes let you fix the guide to a bench when a batch of parts needs the same hole. A free hand then steadies the part instead of a vise.

Questions
Questions about the GOINGMAKE Drill Guide for Straight Holes
Can you drill inside an installed cabinet with the GOINGMAKE straight drill guide?
Yes, that is one of the jobs it is made for. Set the base on the cabinet floor or side, set the depth stop, and the rods keep the bit square to that surface.
Should you get the GOINGMAKE straight guide or the -60 to 60° model?
If every hole you drill is square to the face, the straight guide is the simpler tool. For angled holes, the other model adds stops from 60° to -60° and two locking handles.
A bit that catches spins the stock in your hand. Clamp the work, and collect the dust the bit throws.
