Description
Face frames for a run of kitchen cabinets come together fastest with pocket screws, and the All Metal Pocket Hole Jig Kit drills them through three 3/8 in guides. The three spacings let you place holes close together on a narrow rail or spread them across a wide stile. The clamp holds the part the whole time.
Measure your stock, then set the jig to the same number on its inch and mm scales. It takes boards from 1/2 to 1-3/4 in, and the drill depth adjusts to match. A quick clamp holds the part, and a removable port connects a 1-3/8 in vacuum hose to catch the chips before they reach the floor.
On the bench, the whole jig stands on its base for big projects like a carcass or a bench. Lift the drill guide off and it works as a portable jig in tight spots, such as a pocket hole inside a cabinet you already assembled. The kit includes step bits, drivers, screws and plugs.
